Bilal Hasan

Following his graduation from University of Bath, Bilal joined BDO in 2005, where he first qualified as a charted accountant within their audit stream and then joined the corporate finance team in 2009.

After gaining five years of corporate finance experience at BDO, in 2014, Bilal joined Spectrum Corporate Finance. His experience includes acquisitions, disposals, fundraisings and strategic advice.

Bilal has worked on a number of cross border transactions and has multi-sector experience, including retail, manufacturing, financial services, marcomms, healthcare, TMT, renewables and food and beverage.

Recent transactions include:

  • Advising the shareholders of Finders Keepers to Countrywide plc;
  • Advising the shareholders of Blue Max Banner on the MBO that was supported by MML Capital Partners;
  • Advising the shareholders of Mortgages Made Easy on the acquisition of Contractor Financials Limited and investment for growth by Livingbridge;
  • Advising Orchard and Shipman plc on the sale of Campsie Estate Agency to Romans

As an Associate Director at Spectrum Bilal focuses on all aspects of project delivery as well as serving, developing and enhancing his existing relationships within the M&A community.

Out of working hours Bilal enjoys playing cricket and golf, following Arsenal and spending time with his family.

"Clive and Bilal ran an incredibly professional process which laid the foundation for the successful outcome. When issues arose - as inevitably they will when you sell a business - Spectrum rolled their sleeves up and tackled the problems with an impressive blend of tact, toughness and lateral thinking." Dan Channer, Managing Director, Finders Keepers
