The Spectrum Corporate Finance team are delighted to have been shortlisted in the ‘Debt Adviser of the Year' category at the unquote” British Private Equity Awards 2018.

The awards celebrate innovation and excellence in private equity and venture capital, as well as honouring the industry's ability to help build British businesses - and in doing so, foster the wider economy.

Spectrum’s specialist debt advisory team has had a fantastic year, completing 25 transactions within the qualifying period, of which 24 were on behalf of private equity investors looking to fund acquisitions, refinance a portfolio company or raise development funding. The combined value of these transactions was over £335m and the debt raised exceeded £172m. A number of these deals also now have facilities in place to enable business growth over the next few years.

Just over a year ago Spectrum opened its first London office, primarily to increase the provision of its Debt Advisory services to the London Private Equity market. Due to its exceptional success, Spectrum recently relocated the office to new larger premises in Soho.

Spectrum’s debt advisory team has received resounding praise from the Private Equity community, lenders and company shareholders for their extensive knowledge of the debt markets, expertise in structuring, debt modelling and the ability to drive the funding process through to completion.

Voting for the awards is now open, and the winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on the 2 October, at the Brewery, London.
